The Ashiki Story

Ashiki Gifts of Love became a seed in my mind after my son and his partner lived with us for a few months. She is an amazing artist and while here created wonderful paintings. I wanted to help her exhibit her work, and she was frustrated by curator costs in Melbourne galleries and her desire for greater exposure.

During the time they stayed with us, love, romance and passion filled the air. They lived the now Ashiki motto “Give from the heart, love passionately, live abundantly”.

After talking to artists and artisans who live in my area, I found that many of them would love to have greater exposure for their art but are unsure of the concept of showcasing there wonderful works online. 

Ashiki has complemented the work of these amazing artists and artisans, with beautiful designer Jewellery and sleepwear, books of love and poetry, wonderful romantic fragrances, and silk scarves and silk ties. We are constantly evolving and plan to offer much more in the coming months.
Putting it all together Ashiki was inspired by love and romance and created to give Australian and international artists and artisans a broader market for their work, and to offer a unique range of gifts that men and women can give to express their love.
